SUPERRNATURAL-CON!!! I want to go to that! Especially if Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are there.

It’s funny, but I should have known what was going on when I saw the other Impalas in the parking lot. The Jackets, the “batman voices”, the LARPing, even the ghost story was awesome. With our natural inclination for wanting to think the best of children, I think we forget how truly awful kids can be. And I’m not saying that because I was horribly picked on when I was in school or because kids are so bad I don’t want any of my own, but because little kids can truly be some awful mutherfrakkers. All that aside, I think gaining a little outside perspective and realizing that Sam does love him and that this fact is stronger than all the crap they are going through was a nice perspective, especially considering what comes next… My personal favourite line from this episode: “Oh my god! Supernatural makes digging graves seem so easy!”

“Abandon All Hope…”
In the last episode, Sam finds out that Bela, the thief that stole the Colt, didn’t give it to Lilith, but to Crowley. Crowley wants Lucifer dead because, as an Angel, Lucifer can’t find anything to like about the demons, or “servants”, he created. At least, that’s Crowley’s working definition of the end of the world. So the brothers go to Carthage… Missouri to kick some Satan ass. Uh, things don’t go quite as planned. It is only the 10th episode, after all.

Goddamnit Jo and Ellen! I shed real tears for characters who, in the grand scheme of things, I’ve only seen a few times. Great writing, Supernatural crew.
