Hi. My name is ThisGirlTV and I’m a tvholic.

The first step is acceptance. The second step is skipping the meeting because House is on.

I started out at a little site called Hey!Media! writing tv posts with a couple guys who wrote about other types of media. What started out as a post every few days turned into a passion for television blogging. With my very standard sense of humour, I decided to branch out on my own.

Thus TVforBreakfast was born.

For now, this is a spot for me to write my adulations and frustrations about the television viewing experience. I’m not an industry insider and any bit of information I get will come from somewhere else. But my opinions are my own and you can get that nowhere else.

Soon, however, I will be branching out into video podcasting, because with the joys of television also comes the frustrations of television.

Understand, even if I put down a show, I still recognize the enormous amount of work that went into creating the product and the hard work of the writers, producers, actors, and stage crew – even if the end result is shitty. Hopefully that last sentence will get me out of a lot of trouble.

Hell, it’s just my opinion, after all.

There is a lot of tv I haven’t seen. It comes for working at night for years. But I’m catching up (I mean you, West Wing and Buffy) and that’s all that matters.
